Some events may require you to pre-register via our CareerHub portal, which all Glasgow Caledonian students automatically have full access to. CareerHub is single sign-on which means you can simply log in using your usual GCU username and password.

Several dates throughout May-June | Varies depending on the date | Discover Science and Technology in the Civil Service Fast Stream – series of webinars | Science and technology are essential parts of government in a modern changing world. This can range from developments in artificial intelligence leading to improvements in data sharing to scientists using advancements in DNA technology to monitor biodiversity. In this session CSFS will introduce you to current members of the Fast Stream who will share their experiences of working with science and technology in government, and how you can engage as well. Career Conversation series
The series offers an alternative approach to employer events, where students meet recruiters face-to-face for an informal conversation about the company's recruitment.
Employer recruitment fairs
Recruitment fairs are events featuring a selection of employers within a certain sector, offering students from specific courses the opportunity to meet a range of potential recruiters within a single event.
Employer presentations
Presentations allow students to attend an in-depth informational session about an employer's recruitment practices, opportunities and work environment.
Employer-led workshops
Practical employer-led events aimed at teaching employability and/or professional skills to students.
